Appointment to British Learning Research Council is granted for a two-year academic term, governed by BritishLearning.UK.
Paid Academic Mentorship

British Learning Research Council Members are eligible for professional honorariums for approved mentorship work, including:

  • IRF mentorships
  • Young Research Scholars programs
  • Council-facilitated academic engagements

To protect academic quality and avoid overload, total annual honorariums are capped at ₹9.00 lakhs per year.

This is a maximum limit, not a guaranteed income.

What Does a Research Council Member Do?

Your responsibility is to:
  • Guide research direction
  • Help structure ideas into formal research

Track 1: IRF Professionals

As a British Learning Research Council Member, you mentor professionals enrolled in the
International Research Fellowship (IRF).
These are qualified practitioners who want to move from:
certifications → research-based authority
You will guide them in:
  • Defining research intent and questions
  • Conducting structured literature reviews
  • Ensuring originality and academic clarity
  • Aligning manuscripts with formal research standards

The goal is quality and depth, not quantity.

Track 2: Emerging Research Scholars (Age Group: 13–20)

British Learning Research Council Members also mentor high-potential students aged 13 to 20 in writing their first formal research manuscript.
This is academic mentorship only—not clinical, experimental, or exaggerated in outcome claims.
This track focuses on:
  • Research discipline
  • Academic ethics
  • Structured scholarly writing
  • Early exposure to research thinking

It aligns responsibly with undergraduate admission expectations.
